The aims of the Newe Ya’ar Research Center are to advance the sustainability and profitability of regional and national agriculture. The research activities are conducted within eight sections: Aromatic and Medicinal Plants, Beef Cattle, Cucurbits and Molecular Genetics, Entomology and Biological Control, Environmental Horticulture, Pomology; Soil, Water and Environment and Weed Science. A model farm is currently being established at Newe Ya’ar Research Center, aiming to test, develop and demonstrate sustainable agricultural practices.

The tour will include an explanation of our world view which has been proven to work since 2015 in hydroponic crops in deep water ponds, an explanation of the advantages of the system and their ability to work almost anywhere in the world in terms of climate.
